Quickstart
Sign in, describe your first app, watch your AI team build it and test it in the live simulator.
1. Sign in
Go to openv2.dev and sign in with Google or GitHub. Free includes a one-time trial, enough to build and test a first app.
2. Describe your app
On the dashboard, write what you want in the chat box. Say the main screen, what the user does, and the style.
Before you send, choose how it is built:
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Solo / Team | Solo is one engineer. Team is six specialists. See Solo and Team. |
| iPhone / Android | The platform of your first app. |
| Fast ▾ | How hard the agent thinks. See Power and voice. |
| + | Attach images or documents. |
| Microphone | Talk to your agent instead of typing. |
3. Watch it build
The chat shows what your agent is doing step by step. When it is done, it writes a short summary of what the app can do and offers follow-up ideas as chips.
If the agent needs a decision, it asks a few multiple-choice questions in a card above the chat box. Answer them or skip.
4. Test in the simulator
Open the preview and press Turn on simulator. Pick the device: iPhone, iPad or Duo (a foldable). Your app launches on a cloud device streamed to your browser. It stops by itself after 3 minutes without interaction, and it uses your plan's usage while it runs. See Live preview.
5. Refine
Ask for focused changes: "Use green as the main color" or "Add a weekly progress chart." The app rebuilds after each change. Use Version history if you want to go back.
6. On a real phone and in the stores
Install on your phone with Companion. When you are ready, press Publish to start the App Store or Google Play flow.
