App metadata and icons
Set the name, identifiers, version and icon of your native app, and prepare them for a phone install or a store release.
App metadata identifies your project and your native app. Set it early and check it before an install or a release.
Identity
Ask in chat to change the display name and description:
Native projects use platform configuration and assets.
App icon
The agent generates an app icon while it builds the first version. Ask for another one in plain words, or type / and choose the App icon recipe:
The icon is saved in the project's assets and connected to the native app.
Before a build or a release
Check:
- Display name
- Bundle identifier (iOS) or application ID (Android)
- Version and build number (version name and version code on Android)
- App icon and launch assets
- Required permissions and their descriptions
The App Info step of the App Store and Google Play flows lets you review the identity before you submit.
Store listing
A build is separate from the store listing. Prepare screenshots, descriptions, categories, support links and privacy information in App Store Connect or Play Console, and confirm that they match the app. The Ready for the App Store recipe prepares listing text for you.
