V2 Cloud and backend
Fix a 404 from your backend, sign-up and login problems, data that does not save, uploads and functions that fail, and app AI that stops.
V2 Cloud manages your app's backend. Check the project's Database health (More → Database) and the error shown in your app.
A request returns 404
| Cause | Fix |
|---|---|
| Table or field missing | Ask the agent to apply the schema change and update the app's queries |
| Wrong record ID | Check the record exists and the query uses the right ID |
| Wrong function URL | Verify the deployed function and the generated client configuration |
| Backend not configured | Send the setup request from Database → Add database |
Sign-up or login fails
Confirm authentication is on, sign-up is allowed when needed, and the app uses the project's current configuration. Copy the exact error and ask the chat to diagnose it. Test access rules separately after login.
Data does not save or load
Check filters, field names, user IDs and the read and write access rules. Ask the agent to synchronize the app's code with the current schema. Rebuild if the client configuration changed.
An upload or a function fails
Check the bucket, permissions, file limits and any server secrets the function needs. Use the Database health and logs, or ask the agent to inspect the failing request.
Changes were not applied
Wait for the chat task to finish, then review the Database page. If the setup failed, use Ask OpenV2 to fix with the error. Restoring a code version does not roll back database records.
App AI stops working
AI inside your app runs on a balance separate from your plan's usage. Check funding and limits in V2 Cloud AI.
