Logs
Read the logs of your running app, search and export them, and use Database health to diagnose backend problems.
Two places help you find out why something fails: the app logs of the simulator, and the Database health of your backend.
App logs
The logs panel of the live preview shows what your running app prints: build errors, launch failures and runtime messages.
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Search logs | Filters the lines |
| Copy visible lines | Copies what you see, to paste into chat |
| Download as .txt | Saves the log |
| Clear logs | Empties the panel |
| Hide panel | Closes it |
The agent can read the same logs. Ask it: "check the app logs and fix the crash."
Backend health
More → Database reports the health of your V2 Cloud backend and the last configuration error. Use Ask OpenV2 to fix to send an error to the chat.
Common problems
| Symptom | What to inspect |
|---|---|
| Login fails | Authentication setup and the sign-in error |
| A record cannot be saved | Access rules, fields and the response status |
| A function fails | Its status, the request input and its secrets |
| A file upload fails | Bucket permissions and file limits |
| App AI fails | The AI balance, limits and the reported error |
Ask for a fix
Include the failing action, the approximate time and the error. Keep private keys and passwords out of copied logs.
