Run private backend logic with V2 Cloud server functions.
V2 Cloud server functions run logic that belongs on the server: webhooks, scheduled work, external API calls, and operations that require private keys.
Add a function
Describe the input, behavior, and access rules in chat:

OpenV2 configures the function for your project. Review deployed functions and status in More → Database → Functions.
Common uses
- Validate and transform data
- Enforce business rules
- Call external services with server-side credentials
- Handle webhooks
- Route V2 Cloud AI requests
- Run scheduled tasks
For simple record access, row level security may be sufficient without a function.
Security and debugging
Use Secrets for private credentials. Do not hard-code them in app or function source. Validate the caller and inputs, and inspect Logs when a request fails.
