Database
Create and inspect your project database in V2 Cloud.
The Database page shows the current project's V2 Cloud backend.
Add a database
The page starts empty until your project has a backend. Add database inserts a setup request into chat. Review and send that message to let OpenV2 create and configure the backend.
You do not need to supply infrastructure administration keys or run platform migrations.
Inspect the database
The page shows:
- Backend status and health
- Tables and row counts when available
- Columns, types, relationships, and indexes
- Row level security status
- Authentication, storage, and functions
- Scheduled tasks and the last reported error
Select a table to inspect its structure. If the page reports an error, use Ask OpenV2 to fix or send the error in chat.
Schema changes
Ask in chat to add tables, fields, or access policies. OpenV2 applies versioned SQL migrations and updates the app integration. Describe who should be able to read or edit each kind of data.
Generated app
OpenV2 creates the client configuration and native integration for your project. Those files contain public service URLs. Database passwords and administrative keys stay server-side.
Backend transfer between accounts is not supported by this workflow.
